Company History

Prior to founding PDP, Bruce M. Hubby kept hearing the same comment from the business owners with whom he worked: “If you could help me understand my people, you would make my headaches go away.” He set out to do just that by engaging brilliant statistician and then-Chairman of Applied Statistics at the University of Northern Colorado, Dr. Samuel R. Houston, to design the best assessment instrument for people-management in the business realm. In 1978, he began PDP and incorporated it in the state of Colorado. From the original research, PDP developed its Integrated Management System including ProScan®, JobScan®, and TeamScan®.

The PDP integrated hiring, management, and development system evolved through surveys of more than 4,000,000 people in thousands of organizations. PDP's integrated applications for businesses optimize employees' professional growth to spur the corporation's effectiveness and, ultimately, profitability.

Today, PDP is a worldwide leader in top-of-the-line behavioral assessment solutions for business.
